- General storage (godown). Covered, secure space for cartons, bags, drums and machinery.
- Stock control. Every inward and outward is recorded, so you know what you hold.
- Packing and consolidation. Done in-house, so orders are ready to ship faster.

- Dedicated zones. Space set up to suit your product and how it must be stored.
- Customs clearance. For export cargo, from our warehouse to the final destination.

Warehouse or godown? They mean the same thing. “Godown” is the common Indian word for a storage building.
Warehousing and transportation in one contract
Most businesses rent storage from one company and trucks from another. When stock goes missing or a dispatch is late, each one blames the other. With IP Group, the storage and the trucks in and out are managed by one team.

How warehousing is charged
- Space: per sq ft per month for dedicated space, or per pallet / per cubic metre for shared space
- Handling: per carton or per tonne for every inward and outward
- Contract period: longer contracts usually get a lower rate
- Extra work: packing and consolidation are charged separately

What is the difference between a warehouse and a godown?
There is no real difference. “Godown” is the word commonly used in India for a warehouse or storage building.

How is warehouse rent calculated in India?
Usually per sq ft per month for dedicated space, or per pallet for shared space, plus a handling charge for goods coming in and going out.
Do you provide transport from the warehouse?
Yes. We handle transport into and out of our warehouses, anywhere in India and into Nepal and Bhutan.
